What we do

We source, vet and present sportstech investment opportunities from Sweden and the Nordics. Investors receive a curated stream of companies that match their thesis, plus invitations to recurring pitch events where founders present live. Companies get structured access to active sportstech investors in Europe and beyond, without the cold-outreach overhead.

The network covers the full sportstech stack: fan engagement, broadcast and media, club and league management, athlete performance and health, betting and integrity, venue technology, and youth and grassroots tools.

Why Swedish sportstech

Sweden has produced a disproportionate share of category-defining sportstech companies. The Nordic sportstech market has grown at roughly 20% CAGR over the past decade and has produced multiple unicorns valued above $1B. Swedish founders combine deep sports culture, strong engineering talent, and early international ambition — which is why global investors increasingly treat the Nordics as a primary scouting region for sportstech.

How it works

• Investors join for free. You get curated dealflow, invitations to pitch events, and direct introductions to founders relevant to your thesis.
• Companies apply to be presented to the network. There is no upfront fee — companies only pay a success fee if capital is raised through the network.
• Pitch events are held regularly, both online and in person, in Sweden and at key international sportstech moments.

Track record

The network has supported 50+ sportstech deals and works continuously with founders, VCs, family offices and strategic investors across the Nordics, Europe and North America.

Who runs it

The network is led by Pontus Gustafsson and operated as part of SportsTech Sweden, the national sports technology hub. SportsTech Sweden also runs industry events, research and ecosystem programs for Swedish sportstech.
